Steve Baker moved to the village in 2004, after retiring from 32 years in the telecommunications industry. Married with three grown-up children, Steve enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, DIY, gardening and the theatre. His main aims are to ensure the village keeps its present character and is not subjected to any major building developments, while seeking improvements to the village’s amenities where possible.
Dianne Bonthrone, originally from Liverpool, moved to Emsworth 8 years before settling in Hunston in 1999. Married with two children, she is an active member of the Canal Society. She is headmistress of a school in Worthing and values working within the community. She wishes to work for the village, to ensure its continuation as a real village with a pub, shop and post office.
Julian Broad has lived in the village since 1991.

Dave Hutton has lived in the village, with his wife Dot, for the last 26 years.He is also Chairman of the Community Club.
Liz Kenney (Chairman) moved to Hunston in 1998 with her partner Yann. A retired part qualified accountant and auditor, she spends her time in her garden and also loves walking the footpaths around the village and by the canal. Currently studying for an Open University degree in Literature. Wants to preserve the village for future generations to enjoy.
Bruce Wilkins moved to the village in 2003, with his wife Charli and two young children. Bruce enjoys time with his family and making the most of the local environment. He is on the PTA for the North Mundham Primary School. He enjoys the community of Hunston and hopes to make it more inclusive, develop its identity and character further and encourage residents to become more involved in their community.
Carol Smith (Parish Clerk) lives in nearby West Wittering with her husband & daughter. Her interests include sailing, Golf and Latin American dancing. Carol became Parish Clerk on the 1st April 2005 and is now studying for the Certificate in Local Council Administration.
